Diablo 3 : Whimsyshire AKA PONY LAND!!!!

Hello people! i had just spend my whole noon trying to gather everything that i need to access the so call " secret Cow Level" of Diablo 3. But this time round it is not about killer cow in darky muddy place, it is about cute pony and flower and teddy bear with cupcakes as health potion in a totally colourful world! I suspect it was done so that the bf could at least let their angry gf who felt neglected play in this colourful world! LOL! i almost flipped when the ghost of cow king say : " NO NO NO, THERE IS NO COW LEVEL, THIS IS A LAND OF COLOUR AND JOY AND HAPPINESS!" . lol.



REQUIREMENT 

Every mode has it own pony land but in order to access it, you will need to beat diablo in the same mode. So to access pony land in normal mode, you will need to beat diablo in normal mode. You will need a total of 150K gold and alot of patient and freetime!


ITEM NEEDED!

1. Black Mushroom :   It can found in ACT I in a patch of mushrooms in Cathedral level 1 (second waypoint). It seem to be a random spawn so you may have to look for it through out the whole level but it is not that rare i guess since i got 2 of it.

2. Leoric's ShinBone : Found in Act 1 at random in the fireplace in Leoric’s Manor (use Leoric’s Manor waypoint). It is a big hallway with a huge staircase. when u first use the waypoint to go to the manor, you have to walk back into the manor instead of going down to the hall of agony. Another random spawn so u may need to try a couple of time. i tried about 8 times?

3. Wirt's Bell : can be bought in ACT II for 100K gold in Caldeum’s Bazaar from the Squirt Merchant. Easy to find but expensive to get.

4. Liquid Rainbow : Can be found in ACT II. Use waypoint " Path to the oasis" and walk right near the edge and when u see a down path, do down to a dead end. If you are lucky, you will see a merchant and u have to kill the mob around him to start the event. This is a random spawn too so u have to try a few time to get the merchant spawn there. The merchant will then open a door to the "Mysterious Cave" . You have to find a "Mysterious Chest" inside the cave and it may be in any level so please take a careful look around. This chest is another random spawn so u need to be Double Lucky inorder to get both right! I TRIED OVER 50 TIME!!

5. Gibbering GemStone:  This can be found in ACT III in the "field of slaughter". It can be found inside a cave call "Cavern Of Frost" Remember! It had to be this cave name! any other name is all wrong! This is a random cave too so keep trying til u get it. When inside the cave, u have to find a rare mob call "Chiltara" in level 2. this is a rare random spawn so keep trying again! lol. i am not sure if its drop is random too cause i got it the first time i manage to find and kill it. lol. if it is random pls do tell me. i tried about 10 times?

 

6. Plan For Staff Of Herding : This can be found in ACT IV. It will be dropped randomly by "Izual" so please keep trying! Use the last waypoint to reach there but you will still nee to walk a distance!

SideNote: all these items can be gathered in normal modes so there is no need to gathered them in other mode. of course unless you wanna trained ur char.

INSTRUCTIONS!

After you gathered everything, put them all in your bag and head over to your blacksmith in ACT I. Right click the "Plan for Staff Of Herding" for the blacksmith to learn it and then forge it! it will cost 50K gold to forge it and it will consume all the stuff u have painfully gathered! The product is a useless " Staff Of Herding" with a dps of about 3 so please dun sell or throw it away by mistake.

Put the STAFF inside your bag and headover to " Old Tristram Road". Just follow the pathway and soon you will stumble upon a skeleton of a cow and a "Ghost Of Cow King" will appear. it will chat awhile before finally opening the portal for pony land! 

You can go as many time as you want as long as you have the Staff Of Herding. 

The mob inside ( for normal mode) is not that tough so about level 35 will be able to own it. it is like ACT I or II in Nightmare mode.

If you want to access other mode, you have to first defeat izual in that mode, go back to the merchant near your follower in ACT IV in town, buy from himthe upgrade plan, go to your blacksmith to teach him that and you are good to go!

beware, it is freaking expensive! nightmare cost 200K, hell cost 500k and inferno cost 1000K!! personally i only have nightmare and i intend to stop. not much diff!!

Life as a intern ~ the last run

I have finally pass up my final report to my prof!!! YAYYYYY. hoped she will be impressed by what i did during my IA.

time really fly! omg... i had less than 2 weeks in BD before having my summer holiday.  not sure to be sad or happy. happy that i do not have to wake up at 5am every morning anymore but sad that i wont be able to enjoy the company of my good pals in BD. but i guess i can always meet them for lunch or dinner someday.

i really envy the other IA student who came with me into the same department. she had a so called mentor who always teach her and explained to her. Even the new IA student who came in 2 months after i come had one. I am like the only one who did not had any mentor. It make me feel kinda of lost since sometime i dun know who am i suppose to take instruction from since people just throw me around when they need my help.

BUT!!!!

in someway it had been a good thing for me. due to the fact i had been throw around all the projects, i had the chance to learn all kind of machine too. Not that they explained to me but more like i keep questioning them about the machine. I guess life do get better if u want it to!

Really lost about what am i suppose to do after i end my IA. I NEED A JOB!!!!!!

life as a intern III

time really passes very fast, in a short while it had been more than 4 months since i first started as a intern in PDC. i had about 3 weeks more to go before i ORD from IA. lol. but i must say i have learn alot of stuff along this journey. final report is up on 25 may but i am glad i started doing it since the first week cause i am kind of 95% done with it.

anw, i saw wee bing on monday and was quite surprised by it. lol. i was going to the workshop as usual then when i exit from the main lobby, i saw him outside on the phone. lol. So he had been attached to the QA side while hui shi, an IA student is. kind of sad but i guess i only got 2 good pal in BD who is wee bing and hui shi. of course not forgetting kelly and xiao ling who always help me with the general work.

so right now i am helping wee bing to be the uoc pageant photographer and also help design some of the logo and graphics. not very good at it but no harm trying. lol

Diablo 3 Limited Edition GuideBook

HO HO!

few weeks ago while surfing the net for information about diablo 3, i stumble upon qisahn selling diabo 3 limited editon guide book. It look rather cool back then so i decided to pre-order it although no price was stated.

but 2 days ago qisahn send me an email saying that they now have 120 copies of it but over 200 people had pre-order it so if i want it had to pay for it now thus i decided to go ahead with it. guess what? i received it yesterday noon! wow! that is pretty fast! but they just left it outside my door without requesting for my signature. damn... what if another person saw it and took it?

but it is still amazing, the art work inside plus that metal bookmark is really cool!

So what is inside?

The limited edition book came in a highly premium hardcover! This is very important especially when it is over 400 pages thick! just imagine it in paper back, i guess it wont last more than a few months of flipping ( at least mine wont since my FF XII guidebook did not).

It contains numerous information like all the skills of each heroes and a whole library of monster details. i like the TimeLine section the best since it gave a story breakdown from diablo 1 all the way to 3! Like all brandy guide series, the paper quality is decent but could have been thicker for a more premium feel, ( on a side note, since it is over 400 pages, having thicker paper might make this TOME a hammer. lol) The colours and graphic is nice. The hardcover is exceptional GOOD!

So what the difference?

Limited Ed gave its buyer a super nicely crafted bronze bookmark of diablo head(Look at the above photos) and it is really a piece of art! a must have for any true diablo fan!

The cover is also premium hardcover which had a holofoil art right in the middle of the front cover. The cover had also been nicely finished with more protrusion of artwork ( cant be seen in photos). At the back cover, you can also see the usual spell circle. 

As a bonus for limited Ed, the TOME also include a 48 pages of armor concepts and drawing telling us how they came up with the theme and such. You will also get to download a copy of the guide in digital format.

So what ups?

Diablo 3 is just about 24 hours away and i am sure all fans is excited about it. i am not really a true fan but i just like playing the game. I bought this book cause it had a nice design and look to it plus it is just $10 more than the normal Ed. maybe the metal bookmark could fetch a nice price in the future? LOL!

so recently i have been playing with night photography and i must admit it is really interesting! kind of addicted to it! LOL! the last night photography was in DNA bridge so i decided to go somewhere with robust night life so TOWN came into my mind! i took a MRT to Orchard Station and walked down all the way to Plaza Sing before i went home!
