Photo tip: Food often look more yummy on white plate during photography and try to take the shot from the top to have a nice overview. Since the food wont smile back at you, spend some time arranging the food first to make it neat and clean before taking a shot. You should only take it from an angle if you want a nice macro close up of a certain food on the plate.
Last sunday my family and i decided to head down to kovan for a plate of punggol nasi lemak. For those who do not know, there is this place near heartland mall that is very famous for its nasi lemak. the queue is usually very long and it is no exception for me as i waited a good 20mins before it is my turn.
We used to went there to eat often since we lived near there and in the past, I will always be very happy since the food is really yummy. I still remembered that i will always add rice and have at least 2 chicken wing. But i must say, the standard have greatly drop....
The rice is not fragrance at all and is almost tasteless. I added rice as usual and i almost could finish it due to the bland taste. I have to resort to using chili o add some taste to it. The chicken wing is nice though but i suspect it is because of the fact it is freshly fried. Most likely i wont be going back there anymore due to the high disappointment.
But for those who have yet t try it, please do go ahead and try them first before concluding based on my judgement. To me i will say Changi V nasi lemak still taste much much better:)
